Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and a whole host of other British fashion stars will take part in the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games 2012 in London

She's one of London's most iconic stars, so it seems only fitting that Kate Moss should be involved in the upcoming Olympic Games in the capital.

Well, it seems that she will be taking part in London 2012, hitting the catwalk with fellow supe Naomi Campbell and a whole host of other British fashion faces at the closing ceremony on Sunday 12th August.

Kate and Naomi will be joined by the likes of Lily Cole and Georgia May Jagger on the Olympics runway modelling the best that British fashion has to offer – think Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood – to a soundtrack of UK rock 'n' roll favourites.

As well as the fashion segment, the show – entitled A Symphony of British Music – will also feature a star-studded line-up of musical acts and theatrical spectacles, including performances from Queen, The Who, George Michael, Annie Lennox, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah and Take That, plus a renactment of the Notting Hill Carnival, Russell Brand doing a comedy version of the Sex Pistols' Pretty Vacant and, randomly, stripping lollipop ladies.

Kim Gavin, creative director of the ceremony, said: 'We want to create a fabulous emotional experience, something people will remember for years.'

With this lot on board, we're sure we will.
