Can we just talk about Naomi Campbell's lips?
Red carpet events are always a place for make-up and hair inspiration, but there's something about music awards that make celebrities really think outside of the box, which is why every year the VMAs is one of our favourite events. Not only does the guest list read like the hottest party in Hollywood, everyone arrives with a bang. Here are our top 5 jaw-dropping beauty looks of the VMAs 2016...
1. Naomi Campbell's lips
ICYMI make-up guru, Pat McGrath recently launched Lust 004, a new lip kit reminiscent of Dorothy's red glitter shoes, which was easily Naomi Campbell's best accessory of the evening.
2. Beyonce's braids
If there was any question as to who the biggest pop star in the world is, please watch Beyonce's performance from the VMAs... and while you're at it, join us in absolute awe of her Khaleesi vibe hairstyle.
3. Joan Small's orange smokey eyes

Matching your eyeshadow to your clothing is never an easy feat, but Joan definitely pulled it off with this orange/copper hue. Oh and thanks to Joan's Insta stories, we were able to pretend like we were in the crowd with her.
4. Taylor Hill's cat eye
Taylor Hill proved that she was every inch the supermodel at the VMA's, rocking the perfect cat-eye, while keeping everything else simple.
5. Holland Roden's glitter part
We don't know if she was inspired by the gymnasts at the recent Rio Olympics or if she was simply trying to hide her roots, but what we do know is that we will be trying this... like, tomorrow.
