There's no doubt about it, Kate Middleton's coat game this autumn/winter is STRONG. Take the Zara checked coat she wore earlier this week for example. It was on-trend and naturally sold out instantly (though click on our link to shop a very similar one).

Now she just went and upped the fashion ante again in a gorgeous houndstooth coat, which she wore to attend the Children's Global Media Summit in Manchester today.

She wore the chic coat over a simple red shift dress, and accessorised with trademark black tights and coats.

The printed monochrome design featured a belt to cinch in the waist and an edgy collarless fastening with statement button.
