Meet the Memento collection...

The Jimmy Choo empire turns 20 this year and, to celebrate, the brand’s long-serving and uber-glamorous creative director, Sandra Choi, has whipped up a special collection of new styles for us to dream about.

The Memento line, which launches this month, aims to capture the timeless magic of wearing Jimmy Choo on the red carpet and features 20 brand new shoe and clutch styles that nod to archive hits, but take them in cool new directions. Consider these your future classics, ok?

‘That idea of glamour and getting dressed up is the DNA that’s carried us through the last 20 years, and that’s what we’re celebrating in our anniversary collection,’ Sandra tells us in the May issue of Marie Claire.

‘The light-bulb moment was when Princess Diana first stepped on to the red carpet wearing our shoes in 1997. It really started everything for us – our Sex And The City era, all of the celebrity appearances.’

Choo shoes have walked over 46 miles on the red carpet in the last year alone, worn by A-listers from Kate Winslet and Taylor Swift, to Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio.

And (potentially) the best bit? Sandra’s also designed the holy grail of shoe storage systems, the Memento trunk, to keep them all in.

Now this is something we need in our lives, stat.

All styles in the Memento collection and the Memento trunk are available to buy on the Jimmy Choo website, from this month.
