This is the fashion tip Gigi Hadid swears by

Gigi Hadid has been busy. The model has put her designing skills to good use by collaborating on a sunglasses range with Vogue eyewear. The collection is very Gigi, think New York street style with a dose of 90s cool.

For the occasion, Gigi shared her ultimate fashion tips with us. Take note.

What’s the secret to nailing the perfect sunglasses look? Wear whatever makes you feel badass.

You always look chic at the airport, what’s your go to outfit? At the airport? It’s gonna be like all of the shield ones: G-Vision, Zoom-In and Highline. I don’t know, sometimes at the airport it’s usually comfortable with huge glasses.

So you usually have comfy airplane outfits? Yeah definitely comfortable. I think you can look cute and comfortable at the same time. But I’m not like the girl that goes to the airport and changes into sweatpants on the plane. I like to just sleep as quickly as possible.

What’s the best date night outfit? I like to definitely be like sexy and like beautiful in my own way. But I don’t think sexy necessarily has to mean showy. I like to be comfortable… maybe like a great pair of jeans and a t-shirt and a little pump. So whatever makes me feel comfortable and sexy and effortless.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
