Matthew Williamson has designed a one-off creation for Triumph underwear to celebrate its 127 years of lingerie heritage.
To highlight Triumph as the ‘official catwalk lingerie supplier’ for a second season, the fashion house has created Maison Triumph- a unique exhibition showcasing key pieces from the last 127 years, as well as exclusive collaboration pieces from designers including Matthew Williamson, Louise Gray, Fyodor Golan and Felder Felder.
Explaining his beautiful design to Marie Claire, Matthew Williamson said: ‘I’ve been working with Triumph for a while now, last year I was very privileged to judge the Triumph Inspiration Awards where we saw some fantastic young lingerie design talent showcased in Shanghai. I’m looking forward to seeing the exhibition at Maison Triumph – I’ve customised a set of lingerie in my signature DNA, in vivid colour with lots of embellishment.’
During the event, which runs from 15-18 February at 71 Monmouth Street in Covent Garden, visitors can catch special talks from Caroline Rush, Helena Christensen, Ruby Hammer and Rebekah Roy, while admiring the fabulous pieces before they are auctioned off after LFW, with the money going to charity.
See you there!
