Love fashion that supports meaningful causes? Then this one's for you: Meet DON'T WALK, a charity fashion show founded by students that seeks to break down the barriers between art, fashion and entertainment. And we think it sounds a-mazing.
The show has a really great back story: After the tragic events of September 11th 2001, a multinational group of students studying at St Andrews University - 3,000 miles away from the attack's New York location - decided they wanted to do something to support those affected by the horrific events. And so, fashion show DON'T WALK was born, with a mission statement of supporting charities that 'best affect action in the face of diversity'. Interested? Over the last 16 years, the show has grown to be one of the most successful charity fashion shows in existence, and is the largest privately run student fashion show in the country. Here's everything you need to know about it...

HRH the Duchess of Cambridge once walked as a model in the show
And naturally, Prince William was in the audience watching her. This was the show at which the duchess wore the iconic 'transparent dress' back in 2002, and legend has it is when Kate Middleton first caught his royal highness's eye. The rest, as they say, is history...

Since its launch in 2001, it has raised more than £220,000 for various charities
For the third year running, the show will be supporting a very worthy charity, the Robin Hood Foundation. The charity provides New York's poorest citizens with the resources they need to make better lives for themselves. So far, DON'T WALK has raised over £50,000 for the charity.
The show features *huge* designer names year after year
Previous years have featured top designers such as Michael Kors, Missioni, Vivienne Westwood, Chanel and Lanvin, to name just a few.
