David Beckham is set to launch his Bodywear underwear line with the Swedish high street giant
He’s already stripped off down to his pants as the face (and body) of Emporio Armani underwear, and now David Beckham is launching his own collection with high street giant H&M.
The footballing icon has teamed up with the Swedish store to launch his Bodywear line – that’s been in the works for a more than a year – which is set to hit H&M stores around the world on 2nd February 2012.
David said in a statement: ‘Over the past year, I’ve been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced.’
He added: ‘The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward, I’m excited and looking forward to showcasing the range to H&M customers from February.’
David caused a stir when he starred in the sexy black and white campaign ads for Emporio Armani underwear for four seasons – even posing alongside wife Victoria – which saw the Italian fashion house’s profits double. Impressive.
H&M are keeping schtum on whether David will model his own Bodywear underwear line himself, but with his selling power we’re pretty sure he will.
