DAKOTA FANNING DEBUTS NEW BRUNETTE HAIRSTYLE ON INSTAGRAM
18-year-old Dakota Fanning, who plays Volturi vampire Jane in the film franchise, debuted a dramatic new look on the red carpet, showcasing her newly dyed brunette locks in a sleek blowout and looking every inch the screen siren in a gorgeous teal gown from Elie Saab’s AW 2012 couture collection.
Dakota’s floor-length draped georgette dress featured a slit and lace-embellished, embroidered side panel and plunge back and was finished off with a teal leather belt, Charlotte Olympia heels and a Ferragamo clutch, as well as statement red lip.

Dakota’s 14-year-old sister Elle went for short, sweet and glamorous, stepping out in a fashion-forward pink satin Prada Spring 2013 ensemble of peplum top with open back, short, padded skirt and obi-style belt, keeping her hair and make-up simple and natural.

The real statement accessory of the evening was her footwear choice: chunky Kabuki-style thong platforms, also from Prada, which added a playful touch to her ensemble and are sure to leave fans and critics divided. Fun, cute and perfect for a teen star or just plain kooky?
