The model-of-the-moment stars in the label's autumn/winter 2013 ads
Cara Delevingne can add yet another high profile ad campaign to her already bumper CV, as she is unveiled as the latest star face of Mulberry. The British model-of-the-moment appears in the woodland-themed autumn/winter 2013 ads for the British luxury label. Shot by acclaimed photographer Tim Walker, the pictures show Cara wearing key pieces from the new collection amongst an English countryside setting complete with leafy trees and owls brought inside a manor house in Oxfordshire. As always, the Mulberry handbags take centre stage with Willow, Bayswater and new Primrose styles all featured alongside Cara.
Emma Hill, creative director of Mulberry, said of the campaign: 'The autumn/winter 2013 collection was inspired by the English countryside and cosy, familiar rural scenes but with a dark, mysterious and seductive veil.'
She added: 'Traditional fables, botanical prints and the earthiness of the countryside by night all played their part, and this sense of dark beauty was beautifully captured by Tim for the campaign. After closing our London Fashion Week show, Cara was the first name in my mind for this season, she’s beautiful, bold and British!’
