Captain Jack Sparrow is up to his old tricks in the fourth instalment of the Pirate of the Caribbean series – On Stranger Tides. Reprising his role as the rock star-inspired pirate, Johnny Depp can be seen fleeing the clutches of enemy Barbossa, played by Geoffrey Rush.
In characteristic slapstick style, our hero attempts a somewhat slap dash escape route – trampling a feast, swinging on a chandelier and smashing a window in an attempt to flee.
He also manages to pick up a bite to eat on the way!
The new film sees Penelope Cruz take on the role of Angelica, Jack’s love interest. In an interview with GQ she talked about how her pregnancy had changed what stunts she could and could not perform.
'I wasn't able to do any of the dangerous shots, obviously. But the sword fights became like choreography, more like dance.
‘There were a few things I had been in training for, before filming, before I knew I was pregnant, in rehearsals that had to be changed.’
The costume department also had to keep tabs on her growing bump, with the actress explaining: 'And my outfits kept, well, evolving.’
We can't wait to see the whole thing!
