Victoria Beckham joined Donatella Versace, Diane Von Furstenberg and Nathalie Massanet at the final on Saturday night
Victoria Beckham joined a list of names that read like a who’s who of fashion on Saturday night, to sit on the judging panel of the 2013 International Woolmark Prize.
After showing her successful collection at New York Fashion Week, the fashionista joined a host of famous names at London’s ME hotel to judge the ceremony on Saturday night.
Looking unusually serious, Victoria sat on the judging panel with Andrew Keith, Tim Banks, Paula Reed, Diane von Furstenberg, Donatella Versace, Franca Sozzani, Stuart McCullough and Carla Sozzani.
Ahead of the occasion, Mrs B took to Twitter to ask for fans’ help on what to wear, eventually choosing a belted sweater and skirt from her A/W 2013 line.
She finished her look with Manolo Blanhik for Victoria Beckham heels hot off the catwalk, and a sophisticated updo.
After careful deliberation, the panel chose Belgian designer Christian Wijnants as their 2013 Woolmark Prize winner, from a shortlist of five other labels.
Wijnants was given a cash prize of £65,000, and will also have his designs stocked in leading international stores, including Harvey Nichols and Bergdof Goodman.
‘The International Woolmark Prize seeks outstanding and emerging talent from around the world, and we saw exceptional artisanship and design presented last night,’said Woolmark Company managing director Stuart McCullough.
‘The prize is our commitment to supporting the future of the fashion industry.’
