Victoria Beckham may have spent a fair few years in America but her self-deprecating British sense of humour is still very much in tact. While on her recent trip to New York she poked fun at herself as well as her reputation for never smiling as a rare picture of her sporting a little smirk emerged.

On Friday the designer shared a snap on Twitter featuring an arrow pointing to her mouth along with the words: ‘Look, I’m smiling!’ The photo was captioned with: ‘Sun in shining! Fun day working in New York! X’ Victoria Beckham looked ready for business as she strutted onto the streets in a black skater style skirt that fell just above the knee and a black top.
Following her trip across the pond, the mother-of-four switched the focus from her failure to smile back to one of her greatest loves: fashion. On Monday she proudly tweeted a picture of Harper Beckham’s new white shoes complete with a floral print. The photo was captioned with: ‘Super cute jelly shoes for Harper from Vivienne Westwood.’

Keen to share her attention around all members of the family, Victoria later celebated her husband, David Beckham’s victory on the pitch sharing a snap of Paris Saint-Germain football fans celebrating with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
To express her support she tweeted: ‘So proud of David and @PSG_inside !! Champions of France!!!! X vb.’
