Victoria and David Beckham's son gives the family a new reason to stay put in the UK....
David and Victoria Beckham’s success appears to be rubbing off on their family, as another Beckham boy looks set for an exciting career move this week.
The couple’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, is reportedly on the cusp of bagging his own football contract with Manchester United.
The 14-year-old future footie star is said to have bagged a trial with Beck’s old team, after training with rivals Chelsea and QPR in recent weeks.
While younger brother Romeo Beckham has followed in Victoria’s fashion footsteps by becoming the face of Burberry – alongside Cara Delevingne no less – Brooklyn has his sights firmly set on stadium success.
It’s thought the youngster will sign a contract with United in the New Year, with the staff said to be impressed with what they’ve seen from him so far.
Helping his son climb the career ladder before he’s even turned 15, David was spotted dropping Brooklyn off at the club’s Carrington training ground this week.
It was over to Beckham’s former team-maters, Paul Scholes and Nick Butt, to keep a watchful eye on Brooklyn from there. Cute!
Being the son of Golden Balls comes with its own set of football pressures of course, with bookmakers already offering 12-1 odds that Brooklyn will go on to play for England. No pressure!
The question is, will little Harper take David or Victoria’s lead from here? The two-year-old cutie may have a shoe collection to rival the most OTT celebrity youngsters, but she was also said to be a natural during a family kick-about in London recently.
Which leaves pop stardom for Cruz Beckham. Hurrah!
Are the Beckhams now the most successfully celebrity family in Britain? Quite possibly.
