EXCLUSIVE! Tulisa may have been the teary-eyed judge this weekend but she certainly appreciates Nicole’s earlier efforts
The X Factor final 12 have been chosen and last night (Sunday) viewers witnessed a very teary Tulisa Contostavlos sobbing her way through the episode as she broke the news to her acts whether they had made it to the live shows.
Before Tulisa’s hard exterior softened it had always been the latest X Factor judging recruit, Nicole Scherzinger, who cried during the audition stages.
And it was exactly this that earned her the N-Dubz star’s respect as Tulisa told us: ‘Nicole wears her heart on her sleeve and she is who she is. Her vulnerability is beautiful.
‘She’s only being herself and what more can you ask of someone? Some people say ‘stop crying woman’! But what would you rather, her pretend to be someone that she’s not?’
Tulisa spoke to Marie Claire as she launched her autobiography, Honest, My Story So Far, and the star was keen to stress just how fond she was of Nicole.
Tulisa added: ‘Nicole is a good judge, she’s sensitive and caring to people’s emotions. She’ll be able to help her contestants mentally and physically when it comes to their talent. That’s what I love about her.’
Honest, My Story So Far, by Tulisa Contostavlos is available to buy now in hardback and ebook published by Headline.
