Tom Ford is deserving of some major congratulations - but unfortunately we may be a bit late.
The American fashion designer, 52, revealed at the Regent Street Apple Store Monday night that he and his longtime partner Richard Buckley are married.
'I lost so many friends in college - I would say more than half of my closest friends,' he said. 'Richard, my partner of 27 years, had also gone through something also quite tough in his life. We are now married which is nice. I know that was just made legal in the UK which is great; we were married in the States.'
We love the way Tom played it cool and just casually dropped the revelation about his marriage to Richard (with whom he has a 1-year-old son). He didn't reveal exactly when the wedding took place, but same-sex marriage was legalised in New York in July 2011, so it could have been anytime in the past three years.
Now that Tom has opened up about his wedding, we'd love to get our hands on a few pictures from their big day. You just know it was an insanely gorgeous (and high-fashion) affair.
