Mr Darcy will become a predatory seducer in a raunchy revamp of Pride and Prejudice thanks to a new series of X-rated classics, capitalising on the success of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The X-rated collection, called Clandestine Classics, is aimed to spice up the likes of Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights for a new generation of readers.
In the series of erotic rewrites, Jane Austen’s heroic English gentleman Mr Darcy tempts Elizabeth Bennet into a number of saucy clandestine meetings, while Sherlock Holmes and his right-hand man Dr Watson will be outed as gay lovers.
Elsewhere, Jane Eyre and Mr Rochester will even indulge in a spot of bondage (no, we can't quite believe it either!).

The reworkings follow the success of the Fifty Shades trilogy by British writer E. L James - the story of a sizzling sexual relationship between a graduate and young businessman that has sold millions worldwide.

Published by Total-E-Bound, the new X-rated classics ebooks will keep the original prose of the novels, but have steamy scenes woven into them in the hope of attracting a new wave of readers.
Claire Siemaszkiewicz, founder of Total-E-Bound Publishing, said: ‘I've often wondered whether the Bronte sisters, if they were alive today, would have gone down the erotic romance route. There's a lot of underlying sexual tension in their stories.’
WHY FIFTY SHADES OF GREY IS GOOD FOR WOMEN
In other titles in the series, classics such as Treasure Island, Phantom of the Opera and The Three Musketeers will feature spiced-up adult content, including everything from ménage a trois to BDSM.
Fifty Shades of Grey has been such a worldwide hit that it is soon set to be transformed into a big budget movie, with the likes of Hollywood heartthrobs Robert Pattinson, Ryan Gosling and Ian Somerhalder all hotly-tipped to play S&M enthusiast Christian Grey.
