Tess Daly has landed a £300,000 deal to be the new face of cosmetics brand L'Oreal, but says she won't be softening her Northern tones for the famous phrase.
The beautiful Strictly Come Dancing presenter will join glossy maned Cheryl Cole as a 'brand ambassador' for the French firm, appearing in TV ads and other promos in the UK and Ireland.
CHERYL COLE RETURNS TO L'OREAL ADS WITH HUGE HAIR
Mother-of-two Tess, 44, says: 'I feel so honoured to be working with a brand that I’ve been a fan of for so long. I can’t wait to say those iconic words ‘because you’re worth it’.'
But Tess has revealed she won't be giving any false airs and graces when she says that famous tagline, explaining: 'I couldn’t dare tone down my accent because Vernon would tell me off.I’m posh compared to him, though. I tease him all the time.
'I can only be me, really. The first time I said it I got emotional - they’re iconic words. We’ve grown up listening to these amazing women say these immortal words - I had to pinch myself,' she tells the Mirror newspaper.

The glamorous model, who says she'll be asking L'Oreal spokesperson Cheryl Cole for some advice, adds that she's nervous about always looking 'worth it.'
'I had a moment where I thought: ‘Oh no, does this mean I have to leave the house immaculately groomed every day? 'I’m going to have to make more effort with my appearance on a daily basis.'
We totally think you're worth it, Tess.
