Naturally we had to ask if she was disappointed that in Skyfall, Daniel Craig doesn’t strip off to his trunks a la Casino Royale?
Berenice told us: ‘No, I was relieved actually.’
The French actress wasn’t referring to Daniel though, she didn’t want to show off her figure in a two-piece, adding: ‘It is my nightmare to be wearing a bathing suit on the big screen.’ Working with Daniel, required being seduced in the shower but it’s the actor and not his body or Bond alter ego, who Berenice wanted to focus on.

When asked if she was nervous to work with Daniel, she told us: ‘Not at all, what was amazing on that set for first time I met Sam [Mendes, the director] and Daniel was that I just met with two beautiful human beings. I felt very safe straight away. ‘
Berenice was equally as complimentary about her other co-star, Javier Bardem, telling us: ‘I always felt instinctively that talent comes with humility and in that sense I was not surprised to find two talented actors [in Daniel and Javier] and beautiful people.’
