The actress plays Tippi Hendren in the flick about Alfred Hitchcock's obsession with the actress
Sienna Miller may have been laying low since the birth of her first child, but the actress is set to return to screens in a big way, in sinister new flick The Girl.
Sienna plays aspiring film star Tippi Hendren in the made-for-TV movie, who is cast by famous film director Alfred Hitchcock to play the lead in horror flick The Birds.
The film follows the heated working relationship between Tippi and Alfred, who she claims ‘ruined her career’ after becoming obsessed with her.
‘He kept watching me, staring at me. Eventually that becomes like stalking. It couldn’t happen today as directors and studios don’t have the same control,’ Hendren explained at a press conference last month.
Fast forward to 2012, and Sienna Miller takes on the part of Tippi, adopting an American accent to play the unsettling role.
