Keeping the plot for Sex and the City 2 under wraps was always going to be tough – we’ve all seen the flashback shots – so the stars have decided to reveal all instead! The Internet has been buzzing with rumours about what happens to Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte for months.

But sources on set have now divulged the sequel’s secrets. Stop reading NOW if you don’t want to find out!

US Weekly magazine claims to have a casting notice from the film; a document that describes exactly what the characters will be getting up to.

The mag says Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Big (Chris Noth), who finally got married at the end of the first film, face a major threat to their relationship.

'Big loses a lot of money and takes a job in London, living alone in a one-bedroom apartment.

'Big gets really low and ends up in bed with another woman. After she leaves him, Carrie discovers she is pregnant,' reveals the notice.

Kristin Davis, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt, says her character is now struggling to cope with two children.

Charlotte gave birth to daughter Rose in the first movie after adopting her other daughter Lily from China in the finale of the TV series.

'We'll have to see what that’s like for her,' hints Kristin.

Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is said to face another cancer battle, which sees her reunited with Smith Jerrod, played by Jason Lewis.

'Yes, Jason is back!' confirms a backstage source.

And Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) makes a 'surprising career decision' according to the magazine. Gossip websites say the high-flying lawyer may be sued for malpractice and decides to set up a restaurant with Steve instead.

While all these rumours may be nothing more than hot air, we still can't wait to see the sequel. How long to go now?!
