Scientists have unveiled the first picture of the leading man from Fifty Shades of Grey, Christian Grey
A scientist at the University of Central Lancashire has come up with the first picture of the Fifty Shades of Grey heartthrob, Christian Grey.
Dr Faye Skelton took descriptions from a sample of women who have read the bestseller and put them through image-generating technology to create the image of Grey.
She says: ‘While we don’t want to intrude on anyone’s fantasies, based on a small sample of women, this is the image of Christian Grey they have in their heads when reading the novels’.
The book has become the fastest-selling paperback of all time, inspiring some couples to explore a more diverse sex life.
However, new research has also shown that some are now being tempted into extra-marital affairs.
Since the book’s release dating website IllicitEncounters has seen a 33 per cent increase in members, while over 200 male members have created names based on variations of the book or Christian Grey.
74 per cent of 1,000 members polled also admitted they wanted to explore some of the ideas in the book.
The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is currently being planned and discussed with Ryan Gosling the favourite to star as Christian Grey.
Although the book’s author, EL James, is keen to stress that no decisions have been made. She recently wrote on her Twitter page: ‘We are so far away from casting the Fifty films … no-one ruled is out… no one is ruled in. Just so you know.’
