SJP slams reports of SATC coming back for a seventh series
We could hardly contain our excitement earlier this week when it was rumoured that Sex and the City was returning to our TV screens after a seven year absence.
But star of the show, Sarah Jessica Parker, has dashed our hopes by stating that the story isn't true. Blub.
Rumours surfaced over the weekend that SJP had agreed to produce one more TV series of the New York-based hit rather than star in a third film, following the scathing reviews of the second movie.

However, talking to Access Hollywood, a representative for the star said that the story is ‘completely false’.
Earlier this month rumours of a SATC prequel began hotting up, with four up-and-coming actresses tipped to play our favourite NYC girls during their younger years.

It’s thought Elizabeth Olsen was set to play Carrie, while Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively would star as man-eater Samantha, Selena Gomez would play Charlotte and Emma Roberts as Miranda. However, these plans have now reportedly been put on hold.
