Earlier this year, the rumour mill swung into overdrive amid reports Ryan Phillippe was dating Red Riding Hood beauty - and MC cover girl - Amanda Seyfried. But it seems the romance could already be facing a setback.
New reports suggest Ryan’s ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp is five-months pregnant, and has told friends she is expecting his baby.
It’s thought Ryan dated the aspiring actress last summer, after splitting with long-term love Abbie Cornish.
And now reports suggest Alexis is expecting, and has told pals she thinks the baby is his.
'Alexis has told friends that the child is Ryan's,' a source told American magazine People.
But friends say the Lincoln Lawyer actor is ‘aware of the situation’ and is set to take steps to find out if the baby – said to be due around June – is his.
‘Ryan is aware of the situation [and] totally prepared to take responsibility should the child be his,’ the source added.
Ryan already has two children from his marriage to Reese Witherspoon – Ava, ten, and six-year-old Deacon.
