Real life hero Ryan Gosling has saved a British journalist from getting run over in New York City.

The streets of New York are a safer place when Ryan Gosling is around. Last summer he broke up a street fist fight and now he has saved a woman from being hit by a taxi in Manhattan.

On April 3 at 6:28 p.m., writer Laurie Penny tweeted: 'I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened. I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London.

Could we love Ryan Gosling anymore? He's stupidly handsome, funny, makes bad ass films, spends his off-hours saving confused journalists from certain death and, when he's not saving the lives of the British public, he's breaking up street fights.
