Robert Pattinson's partnership with Dior was officially announced yesterday, to a chorus of squeals from the Marie Claire office.
But while we're content with the first image release from the House of Dior, what we're really interested in, is the top secret launch party in Hollywood on Tuesday night.
While Robert has been lying low amid tabloid reports he's dating Katy Perry, it was a surprise to hear that he rocked up to an exclusive event in LA to announce his big reveal.
News of the party – and confirmation of his role as the face of Dior Homme fragrance – broke on Twitter, with journalists live tweeting from the secret press conference.
Those lucky enough to attend were treated to more than just a picture of a brooding Rob – instead, they were allowed to view the very first screening of the steamy TV ad, which will be aired exclusive in Europe (except the UK) and Asia.
Photos of the ad were sneakily added to Instagram and Twitter and show – as reported earlier this year – Rob lying in a bed with some very excitable lady friends. We're not jealous at all…
The posh party was held at West Hollywood's Soho House and was attended by Dior employees and journalists.
Today, Robert Pattinson's gorgeous face graces the homepage of Dior.com's online magazine. The brand new official photo shows Rob staring at the camera in a gorgeous arty black and white shot with the caption 'The Man Behind The Scent'.
Dior says: 'A heartthrob actor with a dazzling career that parallels the trajectory of the legendary fragrance, who is the man behind the scent?'
We bet Kristen Stewart is kicking herself.
