Robert Pattinson Escaping To Toronto To Film Maps To The Stars

Robert Pattinson puts Kristen Stewart split behind him as he heads to Canada for the summer to film new movie

Robert Pattinson is well and truly escaping the recent split drama from Kristen Stewart, by fleeing the country.

The actor is allegedly moving to Toronto to film the upcoming movie 'Maps To The Stars' for majority of the summer, according to the Toronto Star.

Despite their last collaboration, Cosmopolis, not being particularly well received, Rob is teaming up with the director David Cronenberg again and will be spending July and August filming in the Canadian city.

The flick will also star John Cusack, Mia Wasikowska and Julianne Moore. The plot summary from eonefilms reads: 'Led by the loathsome yet funny and touching child-star Benjie, we witness the convoluted world of shallow, selfish celebrities and their minions, all of whom are about to be manipulated and destroyed by the young woman who literally represents the fruit of their twisted machinations, Agatha, Benjie’s tormented, apparently psychotic sister.'

Continuing, 'As much as it is a sharp, comic look at a vacant and corrupt world, Maps to the Stars is also a haunting ghost story.'

It's no surprise Rob is throwing himself into work. The British actor recently called time on his on-off-on again relationship with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.

A glum looking Rob was seen loading up a truck of stuff and driving away from his ex-girlfriend's home with his dogs, a couple of weeks ago.
