The pop star ditched her long blonde locks in favour of a short, sassy crop

Rita Ora has chopped off her long, flowing waves - and she's not missing them one bit.

Over the past few weeks, the 23-year-old singer has been spotted everywhere from the Brit Awards to Milan Fashion Week sporting long, blonde extensions.

But on Friday evening, she traded in her feminine look for a short, edgy crop - and she (of course!) immediately shared the results via Instagram.

Rita also gave a shout-out to the man behind the scissors, Chris Appleton.

'He is a genius @Chrisappleton1 for my fresh cut! Thank you Chris!! #ICONICMAN,' she posted on Sunday, sharing another snap of the new 'do - which features shorter layers in the back and longer, sweeping bits on the top and sides.

Rita didn't wait long to take her new haircut out for a test drive.

She debuted her sexy look during her surprise performance at the Philipp Plein show on Sunday night, proving that the crop also looks super cute underneath a studded cowboy hat.
