Rihanna’s record label, Def Jam France quickly deleted a tweet saying her seventh LP is out in November
Rihanna may have one of the most hectic schedules in showbiz what with her summer spent festival hopping, but she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
The French arm of her record label, Def Jam announced on Twitter that her new single is out on Monday with her seventh album following in November.
The tweet was promptly deleted although one of the country’s top DJS, Benjamin Galouye backed up the news as he also took to Twitter to share his excitement.
He posted: ‘Rihanna will premiere a new single on Monday (morning in the US) First track of her forthcoming album, due for release in late November.’
Then, in French he added: ‘Excited to finally be able to talk about the new Rihanna. After 10 days of silence. To the officials who are reading: I waited like I promised, eh? #GoodBoy.’
Despite the gaff, Def Jam France promise to make a (we imagine) planned announcement regarding Rihanna on Thursday.
Last week the Bajan beauty shared lyrics from what’s thought to be her new single, she wrote on Twitter: ‘You and I … We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky!’
A new single and album won’t be all the singer has planned for the next few months, her Diamonds tour will begin in spring and it’s believed she’s collaborated with David Guetta, Labrinth and Ne-Yo on new tracks.
