Reese Witherspoon is flexing her vocal chords in an attempt to top the music charts
Reese Witherspoon has become accustomed to starring in films that top the box office, but she now wants to do the same in the music charts, as its revealed she’s recording a duet with Michael Buble.
When asked about the rumours of the musical partnership, the Canadian crooner told Daybreak: ‘By all accounts it would be true, I just really am a big fan [of Reese Witherspoon] and so myself and my camp, we wanted to do this with her and we were thrilled that she was excited about it too.’
The Hollywood star will feature on a track for Michael’s sixth studio album, although we’ll have to wait until next year to hear their musical efforts.
Reese may well have nailed acting but her vocals are equally as impressive, in 2005 she earned herself an Oscar for her portrayal of country singer June Carter Cash in Walk the Line. To ensure she was pitch perfect, Reese took vocal lessons but dubbed the singing experience ‘horrifying’ and ‘challenging’.
Although, with Michael’s smooth sound next to her, we’re sure this experience will be much more pleasant!
