Reese Witherspoon reveals she had her new fringe cut in to cover scar from car accident

Reese Witherspoon has revealed she had her new fringe cut in to cover a scar from a car accident. REESE WITHERSPOON STYLE HIGHS AND LOWS Reese showed off her new barnet with added bangs this week at the premiere for her new film This Means War.

She admitted on a pre-recording of tonight's Graham Norton Show that she decided to cut her hair after she was left with a scar on her forehead following a car accident in September.

The Oscar winning actress was hit down by an 85-year-old's vehicle whilst jogging near her home in California and ended up with a cut on her forehead and a black eye.

The 35-year-old star told Graham: 'It's not funny at all. They said I am very hard-headed because I landed right on my head and I have a scar, hence my new hairdo. I don't remember much about it, but miraculously and thank God I am fine.'

Witherspoon decided not to press charges, though joked the woman had now been given a bus pass: 'She was 85 so they took away her licence and gave her a bus pass.'

We couldn't notice the scar, but we love the new hairdo anyway Reese!
