The actress has plans to follow in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Lively and Marth Stewart...

Reese Witherspoon knows all about being a Southern American lady - and she's planning to share that knowledge with the rest of the world.

It's been revealed the 37-year-old actress, who was born in New Orleans and raised in Tennessee, is creating a lifestyle website set to launch in 2014.

Very few details about the website have been released, but WWD reports that it will be an 'omnichannel venture, which will emphasise Witherspoon’s Southern roots and personal style.'

Of course, Reese won't be the first actress to venture into the editorial sector. Just last year, Blake Lively announced her plans to launch a foodie website. And, of course, Gwyneth Paltrow started the trend when she launched her healthy (and expensive) living site, Goop, in 2008.

In fact, know what we think about it... Maybe that's what the two blonde beauties were bonding over during New York Fashion Week.

It makes sense that Reese might ask her pal Gwynnie for some advice on the subject. But we're hoping since Reese's site promises to focus on her Southern roots, it will be more about mac'n'cheese and fried chicken than kale and tofu.

And we hope she inserts a bit of her cheeky sass and relaxed attitude into her prose - because as Reese knows, a woman can't be a proper lady all the time.
