The Queen HAS watched The Crown and this is what she thought
Obvs, she loved it

It's the question that's on everyone's lips when it comes to Netflix's most expensive show, The Crown: Has the Queen herself sat down and watched the show about her life?
Apparently so.
According to a senior Royal source, Prince Edward was the one to convince his mother to watch the first series of the Royal show, starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith, that we're all hooked on.
'It has been a long-standing arrangement that they drive to Windsor at the weekend to join the Queen for an informal supper while watching TV or a film,' the source told the Daily Express.
'They have a Netflix account and urged her to watch it with them. Happily, she really liked it, although obviously there were some depictions of events that she found too heavily dramatised.'
We can totally see it now: Queen Liz with her feet up and a cup of tea, surrounded by her corgis in front of the telly.

It's worth noting that Claire Foy and Matt Smith won't be centre stage for much longer, as the show may have to recast the main actors as the story focuses on later in the Queen's life.
Apparently the crew has just wrapped up filming Season 2, so it won't be long until we get our next Royal drama fix.
We're counting down the days, Netflix.
