Cressida Bonas will star in a movie with Cara Delevingne and Daisy Lowe.
Cressida Bonas, ex-girlfriend of Prince Harry, has landed her first film role, alongside Cara Delevingne and Daisy Lowe, in new period film Tulip Fever, directed by Justin Chadwick.
The 25-year-old, who graduated last year after studying drama, made her debut performance at the Hay Literary Festival last weekend. She played a singing Big Bad Wolf and even put on an Essex accent for the role.
She's now landed a part in the adaptation of Deborah Moggach’s best-selling novel, Tulip Fever, which takes place in 17th century Amsterdam. It follows the story of an artist commissioned to paint a young married woman’s portrait who falls in love with his subject. The two invest in the new, risky tulip trade in hopes of building a future together.
Cressida, a descendent of King Charles II, has been cleverly cast as a society lady, while Cara and Daisy play the artist’s models. The rest of the film's all-star cast includes Dame Judi Dench, Christoph Walz and Zach Galifinakis.
We are intrigued.
