Prince Harry swept his new leading lady off on a no expenses-spared break, according to this...
Prince Harry is set to whisk girlfriend Cressida Bonas off on a romantic getaway to Africa, it has been revealed.
So could things be getting serious for the couple?
According to reports, Prince Harry, 28, is currently in Luanda, Angola working with landmine charity the Halo Trust, but has arranged to meet 24-year-old Cressida for a relaxing jaunt afterwards.
It’s thought the pair will then travel to an exclusive resort in Botswana, where they will join friends including Prince Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie.
It’s thought Cressida is close friends with Eugenie after they attended the prestigious Stowe School together, and was introduced to Prince Harry by her pal.
Meanwhile, insiders say Prince Harry is ‘very fond’ of his new leading lady, but is currently doing ‘all he can’ to keep her out of the spotlight.
A friend told the Mirror: ‘He’s taking it week by week with Cressy, trying to keep her out of the limelight.
‘They are very close but Harry is doing all he can not to put her under pressure.’
They added: ‘They meet at friends’ houses and it’s a full-on romance. But Harry is aware that Cressida doesn’t enjoy being in the spotlight – it freaks her out a bit.
‘He’s hoping the African trip with friends will enable them to relax and get to know each other better.’
In 2010, Prince William revealed he popped the question to Kate Middleton while on holiday in Africa, after carrying the ring around in his bag ‘for weeks’.
Prince Harry’s romantic getaway with girlfriend Cressida Bonas is one of a string of outings the couple have enjoyed of late.
After first being spotted together returning from a friend’s wedding, the pair have attended several festivals incognito, and even enjoyed an evening out at London nightspot, The Rum Kitchen.
