The happy pair have spoken about their brand new addition to the family, from their home in LA
Proud parents Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish have introduced their baby son Zachary to the world for the very first time, in a new interview with OK! Magazine.
The pair became parents to Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-Johnon Christmas Day, after the bouncing baby boy was born by surrogate in California.
And now Elton and David have spoken of their joy, at the brand new addition to the family, speaking at their home in LA, in return for a charity donation.
‘He shot out like a rocket,’ excited Elton told the magazine of baby Zachary’s birth. ‘There just aren’t proper words to describe that feeling ever. It’s indescribable. It was just, “We have a son”!’
And the millionaire pop star is already taking his parental duties seriously, revealing he definitely won’t be spoiling his new son.
‘I’m ready to have a child and lavish my love on our son and not spoil him materially,’ he said.
Elton and David – who married in 2005 – also spoke of their heartbreak, after being denied permission to adopt 14-month-old Ukrainian baby Lev and his three-year old brother Artyom, in September last year.
‘We’re still consulting about finding the best possible home for them,’ Elton revealed.
And David added they will not be giving up on the adoption. ‘We feel awful. We keep hitting red tape. But we’re not giving up until they’re out and in a safe, supported home.’
