The US X Factor line up is almost complete with co-hosts Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones now confirmed for the show
At long last the US X Factor line up is almost complete – with co-hosts Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones now confirmed for the show everyone’s been talking about.
After months of speculation, it was confirmed that the hot pair would be co-hosting the new series.
X Factor creator Simon Cowell told Us Weekly in a statement on Saturday: ‘These two are going to be great together. I have always wanted Steve to work with us; I think he is a real star. Nicole is fantastic. I loved working with her on the UK X Factor last year. She is gorgeous and super talented.’
The news of Pussycat Doll Nicole’s appointment comes following much speculation that she would win a position on the judging panel over fellow singer Cheryl Cole, who has now been confirmed as a judge alongside Simon and music producer L.A. Reid.
UK X Factor host Dermot O’Leary recently spoke about his own disappointment when he missed out on a role on the show.
Despite being relatively unknown in the States, we’re sure Steve’s Welsh charm and model good looks will stand him in good stead for US audiences. After all, this is the presenter who has famously wooed female celebs including Halle Berry and Hayden Panettiere!
Meanwhile, the last spot to join the judging panel has gone to veteran popstar Paula Abdul.
