Myleene Klass and husband Graham Quinn have split after just six months of marriage, it has been revealed, after the ex-bodyguard walked out on the TV personality and their two children on her 34th birthday.

News of the split, which happened on Myleene's birthday last month, emerged over the weekend, with a spokesman speaking only to ask for privacy for the star.

'This is a private matter and as such we ask that everyone respects Myleene’s privacy at this time,' he said.

Yesterday, a source close to the TV star revealed: 'Their wedding was the happiest day of her life but now it’s all over.

'Myleene had no idea that Graham was going to leave her. They only got married a few months ago and she thought everything between them was great.

'It came as a massive shock to Myleene and she’s heartbroken.'

According to reports, Myleene was completely blindsided by the split, with one insider reporting her estranged hubby has barely been in touch since.

'Graham has barely been in touch since,' the insider added.

'It seems he woke up one day and realised he didn’t want to be married anymore.

'Her friends are angry with him, especially as she’s been left holding the babies. It’s an awful situation.'

Myleene tied the knot to fiancé Graham back in October, in a secret ceremony attended by just 16 friends and family, and their two children, Ava, four and one-year-old Hero.

At the time a spokesman confirmed: 'The couple did not want a big lavish affair, they just wanted to be married and enjoy the day with their nearest and dearest.'
