Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took a huge step in their relationship recently when the couple attended a wedding together in Jamaica.

Despite rumours that the Suits actress might not be invited to Pippa Middleton's wedding because of that classic old wedding guest tradition, 'No bling, no bring', it seems that Meghan is well and truly being invited into the royal fold elsewhere...

According to reports, Prince Harry is planning on introducing Meghan to his royal granny, Queen Elizabeth, for the first time on Mother's Day.

Harry, 32, and Meghan, 35, have been dating since last summer, and she has already been getting pally with Kate Middleton, buying her a leather-bound dream book for her birthday. Cute.

Now the couple are taking their relationship to the head of the palace as rumours swirl that an engagement is getting ever nearer. A royal wedding by this date? We hope so.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: 'Meghan is headed to meet the Queen on Mother's Day.

'She's already been given the green light from Prince Charles, the next step is the Prince's grandmother'

Heghan (or Megry?) have been together for around nine months, but it has already been suggested that the Prince is planning to make a touching tribute to his mother, the late Princess Diana, when he does propose to Meghan.

A source said: 'Diana's jewellery collection was left in trust for the boys, and Meghan apparently loves emeralds.

'For Harry, like Wills before him, using his mother's gems means the two loves of his life will forever be linked.'

No, we're not crying, you're crying.
