Megan Fox: My pregnancy was so rough I related to Twilight vampire birth

New mum shows off fantastic figure on Jay Leno show as she admits she's hired help to look after little baby Noah

Transformers actress Megan Fox has opened up about her difficult pregnancy and how she's hired a night nanny so she can finally get some sleep.

Despite giving birth to her first child, a little boy named Noah, just three months ago, Megan Fox showed off her stunning figure in a Roland Mouret dress teamed with Christian Louboutin heels for her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Joking to the host, Megan explained that she found her pregnancy hard, saying: 'It was so bad for me, actually, that I felt like I was maybe birthing a vampire baby, like the one from ‘Twilight.'

'You know what happens to Bella - where she’s in like cold sweats all the time? I felt like that was happening, because I had no vitamins and nutrients. I was just nauseous.'

Although she added that by the end of her first trimester things had settled down and she began to enjoy the experience.

'I had pretty bad morning sickness,' Megan added. 'The first trimester was really rough and then I got to about 12 weeks and then it was fine. It was a really perfect pregnancy after that.'

Speaking honestly, the new mum also admitted that she has hired a nanny to help out with Noah for two nights of the week.

She said: 'Having an infant is difficult. It's a lot of work and I didn't hire any help because I overestimated my own abilities.

'I had no idea how difficult babies could be, so Brian and I were exhausted.

'I said to Brian, "we have to get a night nurse or we're going to get a divorce because someone's got to sleep in this house or we're going to kill each other."'
