Leighton Meester has been accused of 'violently attacking' her mother during an incident last year.
This comes just days after the Gossip Girl filed a lawsuit against her mum, claiming she spent thousands of dollars sent home to pay for care of her sick brother, on clothes and cosmetic surgery.
In legal papers filed today, unemployed Constance Meester alleges Leighton repeatedly 'hit her with a bottle' and threw her to the floor during an argument last December, in which the star’s younger brother was forced to intervene.
This comes after, Leighton instigated her own lawsuit, in which she claims Constance spent thousands of dollars sent home to care for her sick brother Lex – who has ‘severe medical issues’ - on herself.
The Gossip Girl starlet says her mother spent the $7,500-a-month allowance meant for Lex's medical expenses, on cosmetic surgery, botox and hair extensions.
She also claims Constance threatened to sue her for a whopping $3 million, if she did not raise the monthly sum to $10,000.
In contrast, Leighton’s mother says she and her famous daughter had a verbal contract, in which the actress promised to provide her with $10,000 every month for the rest of her life.
It’s thought the Gossip Girl – who plays Blair Waldorf in the hit show – has asked court officials to rule there was no such contract.
Eeek.
