Lea Michele may have found fame performing alongside her Glee co-stars, but now she’s set to take the music world by storm on her own, as it’s announced she’s releasing an album.
The multi-talented singer and actress tweeted her delight on securing a solo record deal on Tuesday writing:
‘Just had a very exciting music meeting and am proud to announce that im officially on the road to making my first album! I'm so excited! [sic]’

The news comes in the wake of Lea being unveiled as the new face of L’Oreal cosmetics joining the ranks of former brand ambassadors, Cheryl Cole, Eva Longoria and Beyonce Knowles. Understandably the star is pleased as punch by the new contracts she’s won, later posting:
