Lea Michele enjoys evening out without Cory Monteith

Glee girl Lea Michele enjoyed a night out with pal Lily Collins in LA, but boyfriend Cory Monteith was nowhere to be seen

Lea Michele's been a busy girl of late. But after wrapping filming on season three of Glee, and a new animated movie, the starlet treated herself to a girls night out, with none other than famous friend Lily Collins.

The beautiful twosome hit LA for their evening of fun and frolics, taking in a hockey match between the Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils.

Although it seems it wasn't a pretty sight, with Lea Tweeting mid-way through: 'This is the bloodiest hockey game I've ever seen!!!!'

Not quite our idea of a fun evening out.

Luckily, Lea and Lily had a lovely time, with our favourite Glee girl later tweeting: 'Amazing girls night tonight with my dear friend @lilycollins:)'

Although Lea's new beau, Glee co-star Cory Monteith was nowhere to be seen, the actor was clearly following the sporting match at home, tweeting: 'Kings are on fire.. shots 13-4? nice work!!!'.

Earlier in the week, Lea and Cory attended the glitzy annual Chrysalis Ball in California, where onlookers spied the pair 'kissing and hugging' at every available opportunity.

Slamming reports their relationship has been put on for the cameras, E!'s Mark Malkin confirmed: 'Yes, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are definitely dating.

'I saw them this weekend, they were definitely a couple. If for some reason this is fake and it's a PR stunt, they are doing a great job.'

He added: 'When the cameras weren't even there, they were so cosy, kissing and hugging and having a great time.'

Well that settles it, then!
