Awards season may not be upon us just yet, but Lea Michele and Diane Kruger gave us a taste of what's to come - when it comes to seriously exciting red carpet dressing - as they attended a Golden Globe Awards Season 2013 kick-off party in LA last night.

Diane flaunted her abs in a fashion-forward black cropped blouse and pouf skirt-with-pockets combo from the Rochas Spring 2013 collection, which she teamed with black-and-white Chanel bow-detail ankle boots and straight, loose locks for a look that was elegant yet edgy at the same time.

Meanwhile, Lea went the glamour girl route in a Valentino dress from spring's catwalks. Featuring a plunge neck and thigh-high slit, Lea accessorised her wrap-detail blush gown with open back design with drop earrings, an embellished clutch and strappy sandals and finished off the look with a sexy smoky eye and elegant updo.

The two actresses were joined by Glee's Chris Colfer, Emily Mortimer, James Van Der Beek, John Krasinski, Lucy Punch and Olvia Munn at the event.
