Kristen Stewart looks relaxed and happy on her first day on the set of her new movie in LA yesterday. The 23-year-old is playing a soldier in the armed forces who falls in love with a prisoner of war when she's assigned to Guantanamo Bay – and we've got the very first glimpse of her dressed as a soldier.
Kristen's love interest in Camp X-Ray is Prison Break's Lane Garrison, who seems pretty content to have the A-list beauty on board.
Earlier this week, Lane posted a picture of himself posing with Kristen to his Instagram page and yesterday he was spotted laughing and holding hands with Kristen as he helped her on to the boat. We sense some chemistry…
Kristen was spotted wearing her new military uniform on the boat in Los Angeles yesterday, with her hair tied back neatly into a low bun. But earlier in the day, her on-set wardrobe left a lot to be desired. The actress wore a blue and black vest, with a black vest over the top, masculine navy blue board shots, socks, and pool sandals. Yep, socks and sandals.
She relaxed on the boat with her fellow cast and crew, enjoying a bottle of beer while she soaked up some rays and prepared to film her first scenes.
If she's missing her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, it certainly didn't show. Rob arrived at Toronto airport last night ready to fill his new movie, Maps To The Stars with Julianne Moore and John Cusack, so even if these two are on speaking terms, it'll be a long time before they're reunited.
Kristen was originally supposed to star in the movie alongside Ben Affleck, but the actor was forced to pull out of the film in order to direct his new project, Live By Night.
It looks like Kristen and Lane are going to get along just fine... watch this space.
