EXCLUSIVE: Keira Knightley speaks to Marie Claire about what matters to her in life
Keira Knightley, what with her multiple award nominations and seemingly limitless bank balance is a showbiz success story, although she doesn’t appear to see things in the same way.
The actress spoke to Marie Claire about how she defines achievement and her answer showed a soft, more gentle side to her polished A-list exterior.
‘I’m not sure I can define success,’ she tells us. ‘I think if I get to the end of my life having hurt as few people as possible, making sure the people who mean the most to me know they’ve been loved, I will be happy.’
And despite all the fame and fortune thrust upon her, Keira Knightley still keeps perspective adding: ‘Success in work, whatever work, will come and go.’
Judging from her career so far we doubt her star will ever fade!
But if she does decide to have a break from Hollywood it appears she could soon give Nigella Lawson something to worry about.
Her longer-term friend Sienna Miller revealed to us what a good cook the Marie Claire cover star is saying: ‘Keira makes a mean spaghetti Bolognese.’
We’ll await our invite for dinner then.
