Found out what Playboy had to say about the rumours that Kate Moss will appear on their 60th anniversary issue.
Kate Moss's Playboy rumours have been set to rights as the magazine's editorial director confirms that she will go nude for their 60th anniversary magazine in January.
Jimmy Jellinek told the Los Angeles Times that the high profile model had been handpicked for such a prestigious task.
‘This is a massive global brand,' he said. 'You need a global icon in order to celebrate that — that was the impetus. You’re talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy.'
The world's most sought after model - who will celebrate the cover alongside her 40th birthday - marked the start of the magazine's next 60 years, Jimmy said.
'This creates a heat for the brand globally. It started with Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Playboy 60 years ago, an icon for her time. Now we've got Kate Moss!'
Kate was rumoured to be bunnying up when her hair stylist Oribe Canale let slip about the cover back in June.

Oribe revealed that Kate's London photo shoot had already wrapped, revealing her as the 60th anniversary centrefold.
In homage to traditional Playboy bunnies, the full-frontal shots (taken by Marcus Pigott and Mert Atlas) feature Moss in a velveteen bunny ears, cuffs and stockings, and most importantly her trademark inviting smile.
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner added: ‘She’s a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modelling. It’s a natural for us.’
Kate's cover will be sure to go up in the Playboy hall of fame, alongside modelling's elite Naomi, Claudia and Elle.
