Kate Moss has bagged herself an early birthday present for her big 4-0 in January.

Artist, and former journalist, Russell Marshall has been hard at work in the studio creating a retrospective exhibition in time for the big day.

Marshall has reworked 10 iconic images of Mossy between the age of 14 and 39, for what he’s titled ‘Kate Moss: 40 – A Retrospective’.

Spanning the British supermodel’s incredible career, the images will be presented across 10 canvases in one of 10 colourways. The stamped and signed artworks will them be available in any of the 10 colourways, with a total of 100 different combinations.

A former newspaper editor, Marshall’s artworks will be accompanied by a mini biography of Kate – containing some of her most famous quotes from her mountains of interview and media coverage.

A one-off print of Moss submitted by Marshall to the Global Gift Gala auction raised £24,000, helping the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines.

Meanwhile Kate is rounding off a return to the limelight with campaigns for Stuart Weitzman, ELEVENPARIS and Rimmel accompanying her anniversary Playboy cover and confirmation of an upcoming SS14 collection for Topshop.

Now, if we can just bag an invite to her birthday party...

Kate Moss: 40 – A Retrospective opens at the Imitate Moderl Gallery, 27a Devonshire Street, London, W1G 6PN, on 17 January to 15 February, 2014.
