Kate Moss and Johnny Depp will be seen together in the public sphere for the VERY first time since their split in 1998.
And we can thank Paul ‘Macca’ McCartney for bringing two of our favourite A-listers back together, as the two star in the new video for his single Queenie Eye, which is released tomorrow. We can barely wait.
But Kate and Johnny aren’t the only celebrities to appear in the music video. Paul has clearly scrolled through his phonebook and managed to persuade some of the biggest names in fashion, film and music to help him in his visual endeavours.
Some of the famous faces you’re likely to recognise in the video include Gary Barlow, Jude Law and none other than Meryl Streep. YES, Meryl Streep. It just goes to show that Paul McCartney still holds serious sway over the Hollywood elite.
Returning to his Beatles’ day, Paul took over his old Abbey Road stomping ground to film the video, and apparently it was quite the “party zone”. However, Paul is obviously a strict master, stipulating there should be no Facebooking or tweeting, no meat eating and no drug use during filming.
They sound like fair requests to us. Now, back to looking at pictures of Kate and Johnny… ah, those were the days.
