Kate Middleton has planning permission to extend a country mansion for her and Prince William
Kate Middleton is wasting no time in creating the perfect home for her baby once he or she arrives as it’s revealed the Queen has been given special planning permission to extended a country mansion on the Sandringham Estate.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are widely expected to set up home in Anmer Hall on the Queen’s 20,000 acre estate and they’ll have a huge 10 bedrooms to roam around in. The new developments include a garden room measuring 16ft by 16ft complete with large windows to allow perfect viewing of their manicured lawn.
There will also be plenty to feed Kate’s love of sport with the mansion boasting its own swimming pool and tennis court. But the real bonus is that it’s full of happy memories for Prince William as it’s believed he visited the hall regularly when he was young.
Security, unsurprising is a major concern for Kate Middleton and her husband so they are moving the main gates to the property in order to restrict public access. The royals will also convert a wood store into accommodation and extend the garage to make an equipment room – both are believed to be for police guards.
With a baby on the way and a new house to redecorate, it looks like Kate Middleton will be a busy lady!
